Description

Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert combining creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in crescent rolls, topped with a buttery cinnamon-sugar crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to ensure easy release.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pinching seams to seal.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with 1 cup granulated sugar and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent dough layer in the baking dish.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese layer, again pinching seams together for a uniform surface.
  6. Brush melted butter over the top crescent roll layer. In a small bowl, combine ground cinnamon with 2 tablespoons sugar, then sprinkle the mixture evenly on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crisp.
  8. Allow casserole to cool for at least 20 minutes to set before slicing into squares. Optionally, drizzle with honey prior to serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing.
  • Allowing the casserole to cool longer will help it set better.
  • Drizzling with honey is optional but adds a delightful touch.
