Description

Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are savory meatballs filled with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in crispy bacon, and glazed with BBQ sauce for a flavor explosion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • Toothpicks (for securing bacon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty, place a cube of cheddar in the center, and wrap the beef around the cheese to form a ball.
  4. Wrap each beef ball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped bombs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  6. Brush each bomb generously with BBQ sauce.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add your favorite spices to the ground beef mixture.
  • Make sure to secure the bacon with toothpicks to prevent it from unraveling during baking.
  • These can be served as appetizers or a main dish.
