Description
Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are savory meatballs filled with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in crispy bacon, and glazed with BBQ sauce for a flavor explosion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 12 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- Toothpicks (for securing bacon)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty, place a cube of cheddar in the center, and wrap the beef around the cheese to form a ball.
- Wrap each beef ball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
- Place the bacon-wrapped bombs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Brush each bomb generously with BBQ sauce.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite spices to the ground beef mixture.
- Make sure to secure the bacon with toothpicks to prevent it from unraveling during baking.
- These can be served as appetizers or a main dish.
