Description

A quick and tasty bowtie pasta dish featuring ground beef and Italian sausage, perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat and add the chopped onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper; let simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the fresh spinach and cooked pasta; mix until heated through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
