Description

A delightful and nutritious breakfast option combining blueberries, turkey bacon, and cheese in a quesadilla.


Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese.
  4. Add half of the blueberries and crumbled turkey bacon on top, then sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  5. Top with another tortilla and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Repeat for the second quesadilla.
  7. Slice into wedges and drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, you can add more honey.
  • Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with a vegetarian option if desired.
  • Serve with additional fresh blueberries on the side.
