Description

A delightful twist on classic rice krispie treats, infused with delicious banana pudding flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 5 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the banana pudding mix with the milk until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Stir the prepared banana pudding mixture into the melted marshmallows until fully combined.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated. Fold in the crushed vanilla wafers for extra flavor and crunch.
  5. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch pan and press the mixture evenly into the pan. (Tip: Use a greased spatula or wax paper to avoid sticking.) Melt the white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the treats if using.
  6. Let the Rice Krispie treats cool completely at room temperature, about 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh mini marshmallows.
  • The treats can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Feel free to add additional toppings such as sliced bananas or nuts for extra texture.
