Description
Delicious and crispy baked ham and cheese mozzarella sticks, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 12 thin slices of deli ham
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with one slice of ham.
- Set up your breading station with one bowl containing beaten eggs and another bowl with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each ham-wrapped stick in egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so it sticks. (For extra crispiness, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating.)
- Place the sticks on a tray and freeze them for 30 minutes to prevent bursting while baking.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F / 200°C.
- Place the sticks on a lined baking sheet, lightly spray with oil, and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Serve hot with marinara, ranch, or honey mustard.
Notes
- For best results, use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Do not skip the chilling step to prevent the cheese from bursting in the oven.
