Description
Bacon Grilled Cheese is the ultimate comfort dish featuring crispy bacon and melted cheddar cheese sandwiched between two slices of Texas Toast.

- 8 slices Texas Toast
- 8 slices bacon
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 Tablespoons mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Spread the mayonnaise on 1 side of each piece of bread.
- Place the bacon on the skillet and cook to your desired doneness. Once cooked, place the bacon on a plate lined with a paper towel.
- Reduce the heat to low and drain off any extra grease. Then place one half of the bread onto the skillet with the mayonnaise side down.
- Top the bread with 2 slices of cheese, then 2 slices of bacon and then place the other piece of bread on top of cheese with mayonnaise side up.
- Heat the sandwich for 2-4 minutes until the bottom piece of bread is golden brown. Flip and cook the opposite side sandwich for 2-4 minutes.
- Remove the sandwich to a plate. Let the sandwich rest for 2-3 minutes so that the cheese is not too hot.
- Cut in half and enjoy!

- Feel free to customize by adding your favorite ingredients like tomatoes or avocado.
- For an extra crispy texture, consider grilling the sandwich with additional butter.
