Description

Bacon Chicken Sticks are a delicious snack or appetizer made by wrapping mozzarella sticks in a mixture of shredded chicken, bacon, and cheese, then baking them until golden and crispy.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded chicken, cooked
  • 1 cup ranch sauce
  • 1 cup bacon pieces
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic seasoning
  • 1 container mozzarella sticks
  • 1 cup crunchy breadcrumbs
  • Salt to your preference
  • Pepper as needed
  • Non-stick spray

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F (or 200°C) so it heats up while you prepare.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the shredded chicken, bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and the ranch. Make sure it’s all combined evenly.
  3. Grab a mozzarella stick and wrap it completely with the chicken and bacon mixture.
  4. Dip the wrapped sticks into breadcrumbs mixed with garlic and onion powders, adding a little salt and pepper.
  5. Put the coated sticks on a parchment-lined sheet pan, then lightly spritz with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
  6. Pop them into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Cool for a moment before eating.
