Description

A refreshing salad combining creamy cottage cheese, creamy avocado, tangy pickled red onions, and everything bagel seasoning for a flavorful dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 small avocado, sliced
  • ¼ cup pickled red onions (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives (optional, for garnish)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Spoon the cottage cheese into a serving bowl or onto a plate.
  2. Arrange the sliced avocado over the top.
  3. Scatter the pickled red onions evenly across the salad.
  4. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously over the top.
  5. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and olive oil.
  6. Add a little black pepper for extra depth.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives if using.
  8. Enjoy as is, or scoop it up with crackers, pita chips, or cucumber slices.
