- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup caramel topping or caramel apple dip
Instructions
- Set oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and allow to fully preheat.
- Gently roll out the pie dough onto a pizza pan or baking sheet, shaping a 1/4-inch thick crust.
- Combine granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and ground cinnamon in a medium bowl.
- Toss apple slices with the prepared sugar mixture until apples are evenly coated.
- Distribute the coated apple slices evenly across the dough surface.
- In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, and ground cinnamon for the topping.
- Cut in softened butter using a fork or pastry blender until mixture forms medium-sized crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the layered apples.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until topping is golden and apples are tender.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with caramel topping, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
