Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith or Fuji)
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, biscuit dough pieces, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until the dough pieces and apples are well coated.
  3. Pour the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the melted butter over the top, then sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through and golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
