Description

Delicious and crispy apple fritters made in an air fryer, perfect for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • Apples: 2 medium, peeled, cored, and diced
  • All-purpose flour: 1 cup (120g)
  • Granulated sugar: 1/4 cup (50g)
  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Milk: 1/2 cup (120ml)
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered sugar: for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and dicing them into small pieces.
  2. Make the batter by combining flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently to avoid overmixing.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Shape the fritters by dropping spoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each fritter.
  7. Air fry the fritters for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  8. Prepare the glaze by dusting the cooked fritters with powdered sugar.

Notes
